Hi,
My name is Mark Edell and my wife and I are in our first season of beekeeping. I am a nature and wildlife photographer and one of my specialty's is macro photography. Bee keeping is a perfect fit with my work so I started taking shots when we inspect our hives.
Riverrat suggested that I posted a link to those shots here. I created a new page on my website dedicated to nothing but bees http://www.markedell.com/Other/Bees . My main site shows all of my gallery's and can be accesses here: http://www.markedell.com Since we are new to beekeeping there is not a whole lot up yet but I will add pictures and video as I go. If there is a shot that you would like to see (close up of eggs, larva pollen...) let me know and I will try to accommodate.
Some of the features:
You will see all of the thumbnails on the left and a larger picture of the selected item on the right. If you mouse over your selected picture you can choose the size you want to view. This will allow you to view some things in amazing detail! Under the main picture you will see a brief description of that shot.
My hope is to document everything I can so others can see some things that may not be visible to the naked eye.
Cheers!
