way too cold last night

It was 37 this morning and a frost on everything. I hope my splits and weaker hives made it through.I can't remember it being this cold this late in the year.So much for global warming!!

they should be alright if they had drawn comb and enough bees to cover the brood area. Prolonged cold this time of the year would be more of a problem.

Heavy frost last night. Lost some tomato plants even being covered.

I hope I did not lose the ends of my grafts as the clusters tightened up. :(

we were lucky... mid 40's no frost thank God!
