Nothing like starting new colonies. :grin: most adjust very well, last year some of my friends colonies with southern queens were very strong, produced over 200 lb of honey, and wintered very well.

From 15 hives that survived, took 11 laying queens 1-1,5 frames of brood, pollen and honey, and moved them to a new location. Other queens were not laying, so I got rid of them.
