Pic #2, bobcat or lynx? I'm ashamed to say that I'm not too sure. My predator hunting in the last 10 years has been limited to coyotes, we had a litter of beagle pups killed by a 'yote, so they have been in my sights. Great pics. I especially like the one with the black and white kitty. Last year my (then 5) year granddaughter chased on out behind the house "here kitty, kitty"

Too bad about the beautiful wild cat, I hate to see that.
It's 'tough love' for the bees here at Wayward Girl Apiary.

They are bobcats, I take an average of 15 a year. Many are taken on calls from folks who have/had farm cats. Bobcats are death on them. They take a good number of fawns and lots of turkeys as well. Don't feel to bad for them. I don't trap to exterminate but to bring the numbers down in a given area where the landowner can live with them. The remainder also do better with less competitiveness for the available food source. There is a natural and cultural carrying capacity for critters, especially in areas of production. Tom
