Finally got around to making an ant proof hive stand

    that is a good idea. However if you have crazy ants, they are supposed to only be killed by fipronil. The grease is the number one trap though. Good luck

    Just a bit of an update......... My fix has worked perfectly, there has been no movement of the grease since I did this and it is tightly in the caps. When the grease slipped out originally, it did get on the upright pipes and I have found ants lodged in that, but none have made it as far as the caps........ :)

    I need to do something along this line, but for now I think it is Tanglefoot on the hive stand bars again
