  1. Beekeeping Biology
    Installed this package yesterday. Left the remaining bees and package next to entrance but they still haven’t gone in hive. Stayed like this all night. Suggestions?

    I have a hive that was doing just fine all last year and until about two days ago. Then, I noticed that there was no activity so I opened it up and found 4 frames which the attached picture can describe. I need to know what it is and what do I need to do to reset the hive so I can start it...
  3. Bees in Minnesota. Pulled supers off and have 15 frames with nectar and some capped honey. How can I feed it back to bees for winter stores? Another question in same vein. Can I extract 1 side of frame with capped honey? Thx.
