I lost my bee hive this winter. When I opened the hive up, I found that there was about 10-15lbs of capped honey in the middle super chamber. I have ordered replacement bees that will be picked up this coming April. Question for the forum; Should I harvest the honey or leave it for the new package of bees this coming April?

It is up to you. You might harvest part of it, save a couple of frames for them.

Then again if you don't know what they died of, it might be safest to harvest that honey and NOT feed it back to the bees. European and American Foulbrood can both be transmitted through honey
