Beekeeper Beehive Apiary Honeycomb Pollinator

I was performing my 2nd hive inspection yesterday and found no eggs, lots of honey (or condensed sugar-water), lots of extra-thick comb sticking out from the frames and this. Is this a queen cell?

Thanks Wil. Between finding no queen, no eggs, comb being built very thick on the surface of the center (under the feeder) frames and this potential queen cell I suspect the queen was rejected.

That is what I am thinking also.
Sometimes it is just easier to buy a NUC instead of dealing with a package of bees. In a NUC, the Queen is already established.
If I spent a lot of time playing shoulda-woulda-coulda, my life would be pretty rotten😉. Let’s see if the girls can overcome and adapt.
