Have 2 hives with packages installed 11 days ago

Checked at 7 days, Queens were out

Have SBB, med super, Hive top feeder, TT

Should I do something to counteract the forecast of 32 degrees tonight?

Bees will be fine, no need to be a nervous parent
That is exactly how to describe it...I was a nervous parent this week for sure.....I worried too Quentin...We have had four frost mornings the last week. The only day that bees did not exit the hive was the day it stayed shy of 50 degrees and the wind was very gusty..Mine did well...they were all over the place today...

if you are new to all this and starting from a package this kind of weather (described above by blueblood) illuminates why just a bit of feed is essential. it would be useful even for a nuc, but for a package is essential.
