    Open the hive look
Working the frames don't fear them
    Under the veil stung

    Nice.
    ---------------------------

    Infinite chambers
    In the golden wax temple
    Bees 'Om' chant to Spring

    Thanks Omie. :)

I figures someone would pick up the torch and run with this. Since there have been no takers, I offer haiku #2

    One by one eggs placed
Bees wax comb their space to grace
    A queen works her hive

    No smoke needed here
Veil-less, at One with the bees
    Pop! right on the nose!

    Very Nice...
For us this week... "Caught another swarm" = "Did our first cut out" and "griping wife" = "griping husband" (But he still was nice enough to drive me to Brushy today! cha ching!)

    Neighbor: You tend bees?
Proudly, I say, Yes I do!
    So that's where they swarmed!

    Tiny bee faces
lined up like beads on a string
    Watch out, beekeeper!

    Ugh! Lazy Spring drones
    Yet, queenless in late Summer,
    shiftless boys welcome
