A cool observation about water

    I used to think bees only used water to cool their hives but apparently I may be wrong. With the temperature in the high 40's my waterers were full of bees taking water.

    Everybody likes a cool drink of water, it is life giving!

    Concentrating nectar into honey also cools the hive.

    They not only drink water, but they also dilute honey before feeding brood and themselves.

    That is what I use, a small animal watering thingy.
