got a call from a friend 5 min away that 1 of his kids right behind his house just got stung 10 times by bees, so went on out and right near his screen cage I found this, from what I can see there queens get along well unlike honeybees, I found like 20 queens in this nest ready to spread out and start new nests, so for all you beeks out there dealing with yellowjackets I got a little revenge for you.

I hate those little nasties although they generally (and kind of like honeybees) really will not much bother you unless you bother them first. it looks like the nest got a little hot!

Actually if this tme a year, those queens were in all probably mated, and would start their colony right alongside parent colony that is where you get those super colonies with hundreds of thousand workers.
