We just had a new addition to the family! Ginger was born on Saturday, April 30th (the day I was supposed to pick up my packages, of course). Everything went as smooth as could be, and big sister Maile (2 1/2) got to come along to the birth. Mom's a champ, and is doing very well. I'm now surrounded by 3 beautiful girls at home.

Mai's been helping me take good care of the bees over the past year, and is a pretty quick learner. She can name all the castes of bees and their respective jobs, can identify Langstroth and TBHs, and has a pretty good handle on the role of pollen and nectar in the hive. I'm a proud daddy, and I'm sure Ginny will follow in her footsteps.
