Two weeks ago, I was scraping off ice from the car in the morning. Last week, 95 degree temps. Now days of rain, rain, and more a coming! If we get swarms of locusts next week I'm going to take a vacation.... ;)

Yesterday I went out and worked bees in 50 degree overcast and damp conditions. And the bees were not happy!

I think today I'll start with cleaning the inside of the truck...:)

Ah, yes, Pennsylvania! Here we enjoy having to change clothes three times a day because the temperature goes from 40F to 90F, and then it rains. I'm getting tired of opening and closing my cold frame tops! Worst part is these hideous flies we have. They live in the locust trees, bite like a son of a gun, and are impervious to all insect repellants. For the most beautiful-weather part of the spring, they make it impossible to stand outside. If it wasn't for the honey, I'd cut down all those scraggly locust trees.
