anyone use e z frames?

Does or has anyone used e z frames, where the frame and foundation is all 1 piece? I am seriously considering going to all supers. Maybe a deep for brood on bottom, but those deeps at 75 to 90 lbs about shoulder high are tough for an old man to handle. The all in one frame is really not more expensive for a small hobbist like myself. Thanks in advance.

I have some, but acquired them from other beekeepers. I don't so much like all the little recesses where the small hive beetle can lurk. As long as you keep deeps at the bottom of the stack these typically only get moved twice a year (at least by me) via reversing hive bodies. At the bottom of the stack they also should contain primarily brood which is much lighter than honey.

IMHO straight mediums, straight shallows or 8 frame equipment are all good choices if you desire to take some of the grunt out of beekeeping.
