    I have not. It's pricey,

I am about to start treating with oxalic acid via fogger. (I also have a vaporizer but it is more difficult to handle.

I've used Oxalic acid since I upgraded from powdered sugar as my VSH queen provider quit selling queens. (he had a bad year and lost too many to ants, and dragonflies, etc and retired)

Since I've gone to the fogger my vaporizer is for sale cheap, bet some near you are too. Either way you buy equipment once, strips over and over

Where did you get your fogger? What brand is it?

it will not kill mites in capped brood or it would also kill the brood. Plan on fogging or using a vaporizer once a week.
and a fogger used for bees should never be used with regular insecticides such as mosquito fog.
And you will want a very good facemask using a fogger. With the vaporizer I taped all the openings on the hive put it in and ran. That fog goes everywhere.

thats once a week for 3 weeks straight so any brood will hatch and be treated, so you will fog 3 weeks in a row and then you can treat again in the colder weather when no brood...not every week for ever..

Thanks for the help, sorry for the dumb questions. I tried raising bees two years in A row all natural, and they died each year. Decided I wanted them to live this time. I just got apivar strips so I'm going to use them up and then get the fogger. Thanks again Bob and Gypsi

3 weeks in a row is good. And you will need everclear and a saucepan and a canning jar to store the prepared Oxalic dissolved under heat in the everclear. Recipe is on youtube and I think I posted a link last year?

I put the apivar strips in today, seemed like a lot more of a pain in the butt than the fogging I seen going on on youtube
