Wondering if anybody is using ATV for grass cutting and snow clearing, instead of tractor.
My property is only 5 acres, clover fields and orchard on gentle slope.
Any suggestions? Thanks

No snow to worry about. We do have an ATV pulled mower. No control over it at all, so can only use it on open areas. Riding mower works many times better. We quit using the ATV mower after the first year.

Wannabuy it?? :D

I've got an ATV I use for shredding 7 or so acres. Got a Swisher shredder that I tow. The pasture had some rough areas and towing the shredder was beating the garden tractor to death.

Use the garden tractor for the lawns and paths through the pasture.

I see people use them on larg lawns. I bought my wife a zero turn John Deer 54 Inch cut riding lawnmower, she loves it,and looks for any excuse to mow the yard. :yahoo: I keep the fields and pasture mowed with the 340 international tractor and 6ft. John Deer brush cutter when i'm not fishing or playing with my bees, now that i don't have to mow the yard. (about 3 acers) Jack

So it's gonna be tractor then. I have to have control over the mower, orchard got to be tidy, and trees free of dents :p
