August question

    I 'm wondering is it reasonable to expect bees will not be drawing more comb at this time. But rather filling up what is there, being that we have had a few lean weeks,and they have used up quite a bit of honey.

    You are probably right! Beekeepers have been overstimulating bees for hundreds of years. We can get them to draw comb and produce huge populations with food supplements and genetics, though their demise is the likely result eventually. Feed thick syrup to store and thin syrup to stimulate.

    never too early to start prepping for winter months specially with the rough winters past few years, bees can not have too much food going into the cold seasons
