Baby Mockingbirds

    Mockingbird built her nest beside our deck steps. We keep them here by feeding them grapes... They in turn eat tons of bugs and the wasps stay away... Sixth season the families have returned now, but never this close. The chicks talked to me! (I talk to our honey bees, too)

    That's great! But I've heard of mockingbirds swooping down on folks that get too close to their nests. Sounds like you've got it under control, though.

    PS: The mockingbird is the state bird of TN. :)
