I'll be signing off for the night. Tornadoes 30 mile west of here, headed this way. Hail 2 inch dia. WFU is probably in the middle of it at this time.

See you folks tomorrow, I hope.

yeah, it passed just south of me by about 2 miles, but it did pass right over Larry Tate's of Tates Apiaries.... I am going call and see if he is okay and give him some help if he needs it putting his hives back together from the 70 mph wind gusts. Mark from marks behavin blog (who is on here) in Reidsville got a good scare as well. Welcome to tornado season! I think we are going to be in for a few more this year.

Lexington (just south of us) got baseball size hail!

Had heavy rain with large hail Sat. 5 miles south of me, i was pruning and cleaning out the blackberry patch (thornless).and got wet.I didn't know we were under a tornado watch. The last two years the hail has knocked the bark off the blackberries and ruined production, after i had worked a week on them, so i guess it's that time of year again. Just heard on the news that no one was hurt in NC. from the storm, so thankful for that. I'm here. Most of it missed us, by about 10 miles. We got a good drenching, but that's about all. Lots of damage in the surrounding areas, tho.
