I went by tonight to pick up a trap box I've had on a roof and ran into a slight snag. Several hundred bees were bearded on the outside.

In the past I have just closed up the enhance and brought the box home, but this presented a new problem. I wasn't too hot about taking the box in my car like this.

I noticed that the bright light of my flashlight caused about 1/3 of them to go inside, but I couldn't get the rest to follow.

I guess I can go back tomorrow night with my truck and let the bearded bees take their chances, but it would be nice if I could take them all at once.

Any ideas?

Just a few puffs of smoke should drive them indoors. If not the stranglers will be fine in the back of your truck.
