Bee trouble in East Palestine, Ohio.

I live about 14 miles from that RR derailment in East Palestine that has been all over the news nationally. A few of the beekeepers from our club live just a few miles away from the scene. We just heard word that they lost over half of their bees so far because of it and they are worried about their beekeeping business.

I think I don't have time to investigate and I've heard the words conspiracy theory, and frankly that sounds a bit like one. Good old fashioned greed, by the petroleum and coal industry, is driving climate change, I don't know what planet they plan to move to, when they finish wrecking this one. Good old fashioned greed is why the rail industry lobbied for removing safety rules, and good old fashioned greed prevents many industry regulations that would protect health. Oh yeah, those safety rules are pushed by liberals and I am in favor of safety. I work with science, I've written books on fish, I work with ecology and ecosystems. The bird flu, and all the fish diseases I see now are contributed to by rising temperatures. The human population has long since exceeded what this planet can comfortably support with any kind of quality of life, and I do mean world wide, and the diseases, the pandemics, the floods, the increasing tornadoes of increasing strength, the ever stronger hurricanes can be tied to rising water temps in the ocean, climate change isn't just hot, although Texas will eventually become unbearable unless the poles flip. I'm not going to participate in conspiracy theories, I know where to find them on tv if I want. I have a business to run and family to take care of, as well as the little crises that may find me. I live 1.5 miles from railroad tracks on both sides of my house. I'm sorry I'm grumpy, I haven't had a day off in a while.

Our planet has gone through many changes since it's birth and this is yet another one of those changes. It is the law of the universe. The dinosaurs used to roam the Earth, they are now gone. Man, well ,we are just here for a little while longer. However, it does seem that there are those that are helping that process along.

I will probably donate to the Center for Biological Diversity, Earth Justice and a couple of others to fight the Willow project. I live near the oil industry, I get to hear these folks up close and personal. Doesn't mean I like them. My old 75 burns gas, my 05 burns gas, if I ever actually buy a new vehicle it will be after I buy solar panels to charge it.

I'm just dealing with trains. You can only neglect maintenance so long.
