Wondering if anybody on this Forum collects bee venom. Apparently it's something BK's in Europe do to add more income to their operations. 100 hives can produce 1 kg of bee venom in the season, bringing additional $10,000 of income. Process is 100% safe for bees. Here is link for one of producers of venom collectors. http://www.beewhisper.com/
I knew someone out west that collected venom for doing Apitherapy but don't know how they collected it. 249 euros is a lot of money, but if you have a market, why not? I collect all my venom the natural way................through stupidity!
I not only collect venom, but also inject it into the subject to build the immunity. Want to buy some of my blood??
Marbees, you should look around your area for any naturopaths, etc. and see if any of them offer apitherapy. They may be using bees directly for their cause and if you can offer them an alternative that is more "bee friendly" you may be surprised. Nothing ventured, nothing gained. A few calls may provide some answers.
Thanks Perry, it crossed my mind, Toronto is a huge market for everything. The reason I'm inclined to venom collection, not very expensive equipment, and shelf life of bee venom in glass jar in a dry place is 15 years. Like money in the bank.
