You can already sell propolis. What you can't do is make claims of medical benefits to sell it unless you are a medical doctor... even if it's common knowledge like the whole honey and allergies thing.

I was just thinking if the drug companies come up with a medicine that uses propolis, there would be a greater and steady demand for it, and maybe a good income possible.

A study has shown that a compound called caffeic acid phenethyl ester or CAPE is made from propolis and has stopped the spread of prostate cancer cells in mice.

Maybe another future source of cash for beekeepers?
Who's going to spend all that money (because propolis is so expensive) to help his/her prostate-cancer-stricken mice? It's a lot cheaper to just get a new mouse. :rolling:
