I had four packages ordered for my farm in Manitoba to arrive in the last week of April. Now, because the weather is so mild, they are arriving next Tuesday. That’s two weeks early. Problem is that I will be in Australia until ten days after that. So, my wife will get all the fun.

So, those packages are going to be your wife's bees.
Are you OK with that?

In a way it might be good if she gets hooked on beekeeping early. Still; I'd rather hive them myself.

Okay....maybe not "willing...." ha! I can't help to think that the bees like females better anyway...I hope my lovely queen doesn't kick me out of the house come fall.....
