Just started my new temporary job driving u-pick bus in the blueberry fields. 35 different varieties. This was one called Spartan. Could not believe how big they are and in clusters of 6 to 8. I have big mitts for hands but hopefully you can get a sense of the size of these things!

My mouth is watering blue saliva.

Tell us about the job. Any chance they'll want you to place hives there?
I've got a whole slew of questions to ask about the new job but trust you'll report on the interesting aspects of it without any need for my guidance.

Got a lot of Dukes, Bluecrop, so many varieties I have a list and a map to find my way around the fields!
Job is great so far, although not as busy yet as I am being told it will be.
Berries are so plentiful you can fill a 10 lb box in 1/2 an hour (if you aren't sampling) Actually, they encourage it here. We jokingly tell folks they must pass the blue tongue test before we will let them back on the bus for the trip back, if your tongue aint blue you can't get on till it is!
