How many of ya'll have to have a bottling license to bottle and sell your honey legally? I do (but don't). I found out that I can't even have my sign out by the road that say's Honey for sell unless what I am selling is bottled by someone with a license. They ("they" being the county} actually stop and check.
In North Carolina you can sell it from home as soon as you bottle it, unmarked. No license or permit required. You can put it in stores or sell it at markets, or whatever, if it is labeled "pure honey", weight, and producers contact info. IE: name, address, or phone number. Again, no license, permit, inspection, commercial kitchen, or anything required.
Mo. is like Iddee's state except, say i want to wholesale it to a business for resale then i have to have a inspected and approved honey house. Jack
