I am pretty new to beekeeping, have 2 hives and for the past 2 days my bees have been congregating on the bottom board entrance. They aren't flying much, just hanging out there. They appear healthy and active but I have not seen them do this before.
Anyone have thoughts on this behavior?
    Thanks

    Is it just at night?
    I would say they're bearding.

I saw it last night and again this morning. Could be bearding but high temps have only been in mid 80s.

I've seen my bees beard when it hit 70 degrees.
Are both hives doing it? If so, you haven't a thing to worry about.
