    He looks awfully stiff already; ya sure you didnt have him in the freezer for a couple of days? lol!

    I had to look twice to verify the species. A buddy of mine lost a German Shepherd down around Greensboro. Just kidding, good looking buck. What did he dress out at?

    You Ohioans don't know NC deer. A hundred lb. deer here is too old to eat.

    Sounds like Texas (no offense to our forum friends down there, I wish them the best with the fires), I was stationed there twice, and the deer there are really small. You're right Iddee-I'm more used to the northern whitetails, Ohio and Pennsylvania. Considerably larger. Still, you gigged a good one.

    Look at the date, XLB. It was opening day. Way before you told me to start keeping them.
