Box Joints

To build my boxes, I used spruce and a 'beehive jig' to cut finger joints with my router. Pre-drilled the fingers then used glue and stainless #6 screws. I often wondered if I overdid it, apparently yes

I bought my boxes from dadant and put them together with wood glue and nails. I don't know how to operate a table saw with a jig or whatever it is.

I buy my boxes and use Titebond III and nails on the finger joints. I'd like to see the bees tear them apart.
