Years ago we new an older fellow that sold buckwheat honey. I must say it was the best tasting honey I had ever eatten. Would love to find someone who had their bees next to a buckwheat field. Does anyone here know of anyone? :?:
Makes a dark looking honey but I plant it every year to help off-set the cost of sugar. I don't really mess with a lot of honey but I always have a few jars, drop me a PM if you want a jar.

I had heard about buckwheat honey for years. A couple years back at a honey tasting event I had it for the first time. Tasted like old king table syrup that came in the metal round containers years ago.
Not one of my favorites that's for sure....
