I have been open feeding Pollen Sub for over a week now. Temps in the 70 for next few days. They are going nuts. Tonight I went down and out quart jars with 2-1 syrup on top of 4 of my hives. The bees were not clustered at all. They really jumped on the syrup jars. So here is my question. 2 hives are just 10 frame mediums right now. A hive I started in the fall and this cut out I did a few weeks ago. both have good queens and good numbers of bees in them. Can I go ahead and sit these mediums on top of a deep now. The deeps will have about 5 frames of pulled comb and 5 frames of wax foundation. I'll ut the pulled comb in the middle of the with the foundation on the outsides. I would like to give these new hives some room to start moving in to. I am going to look in the hives tomorrow since it's supposed to be 72 degrees and see if queens are laying. Man, I'm ready.
