I gave mine away. It was a pain in the neck.

i found the cap to be a pain in general, not just for beekeeping. I now use a tri-fold tonneau cover. keeps the bed dry when I need it, and folds up out of the way in about 5 seconds when I don't want it there. Add another 20 seconds, and I can remove the whole assembly.

I gave mine away after about 2 months. Like stated above they are a real pain in the neck.

I have one truck with a topper and one without. I wish my State truck had a topper. It keeps things from flying out every time I have to park the truck. If what I need to carry fit under a tonneau I would drive a car or small van.

I don't much care for toppers but as Americasbeekeeper point out they do have their pluses. They make some here with large side access 'windows' that hinge outwardly that are an improvement over toppers with small glass sliding windows. This just make pulling anything out so much easier.
