Do you have a "backup" hobby" in the Winter?

    My other hobby is G scale railroading, an outdoor model railroad with car around the size of loaf of bread. The engines are a little bigger. So the honey bees are no where as expensive as the trains are. I have been in the model railroading for 50 years now, I had HO scale until I could not see to fix them so went to the larger scale, been haveing fun ever since.

    Mmm,

    woodworking, turning, metal work, fast cars, flying ( not active now) , RC planes now instead, gardening, growing hops, brewing beer, growing peppers and thus making hot sauces, playing tennis, USA swimming official, boy scout leader, repairing anything mechanical including my wife's embroidery machine( with Iddee's help) now working on a MF 1085 tractor. Scuba with my 13 year old son, and kayaking -sea and lake

    previously :
    trained German Shepherd dogs,
    and was a ZNA local certified judge (someone else has this hobby here- any guesses?)
