After the split, stores are down and temps are falling. Not what it takes for them to welcome drones. They weren't raising queen cells, had low supplies, and the weather was cooling. Time for the guys to go.
Drones being kicked out in NC
Made a split last week in a 4 frame nuc. Somehow I got the queen in the nuc. Had cooler temps today. Went out and saw around 30 dead drones at the hive entrance. Any ideas? She must be needing more room?

They just get the old boot out the door, regardless of their contribution.
