Drones

    Hi my drone frame used to be with drone babys but now there is just empty cells what could be wrong?

    Did you wait too long and they all emerged?
    I'm guessing that's not the case, and that you saw uncapped brood, and then they disappeared?
    If the nectar flow stops, the bees may decide they don't need any more drones, and so they will dispose of them.

    It's that time of year when they pretty much stop raising drones here.

    If the bees are not filling the empty comb with nectar or brood, I would assume a dearth.
