Easy frame jig

    I use that jig most of the time myself. It works pretty good PerryBee.

    I built one of those last year. It makes building frames a much easier and efficient process:thumbsup:

    Your thicker wood makes assembly a lot easier than the thin stuff we use south of you Perry. I think I'll make one of those too, thaks for the picture. :)

    To add a suggestion to the design if you cut the 2 far notches for the slid 1/4" deeper and glue 2 wedges on the far end of the slide. the the far 2 wedges are 3" long and taper from 0 to 3/8" . the close notch needs to be 1/2" deeper and the wedge 5" long with a taper from 0 to 5/8". wit this modification the slider bars can be left loose to make it easier to slid the end bars in. The slides can then be pushed to hold the frames tightly in place.

    I built one last year about the same time I bought an air stapler from Harbor Freight. Talk about cutting down on frame building time....WHOA! I used to build each frame one at a time with a hammer and nails.....not anymore. I'm sure you are making frames up in record time now. :)
