My prayers are with you on this, I know your pain, I lost my mother last Wednesday but it was from old age and heart failure, she was 91 to be 92 in few months, I will still mess her though. Hope they have a cure for this or way to ease the pain.

Add my name to the list above. Members of my family have had both Rocky Mountain spotted fever and Lime disease, but that one is new to me. Wishing you and yours the best.

As with the others, best wishes, am no stranger to ticks, Pa seems infested with them, can't walk through any field without getting a small collection. Never got any of the issues stated above, but for the grace of god, certianly bitten never infected. Again best wishes, and speedy recovery.

Update... after a week without any response from mom other then opening her eyes she took a giant step forward today. They took her off the respirator and took away her sedatives and pain killers this morning. I took a long lunch to see how she was doing and I was amazed about how responsive she was, at 69 she has a-lot of fight left in her . Stopped by after work and she even looked better  . She was able to speak a little and she told me that she" loved me " I can not remember a day when those words meant so much to me. Thanks for the prayers and thoughts. I believe we are on the right side of the ball now and looking at the goal line:mrgreen:.

Told her tonight about the support of my bee keeping friends and she told me thank everybody.. So thanks. As odd , it may seem she is terrified by the bees, reason that I have the hives in a remote area of the farm, but yet she has no problems pushing her Belgian horses around . Mom is going to be 70 next month and goes about 4'11" and maybe 90 pounds soaking wet, a lot of fight in that little body.
