Emerge!

    I was hoping to see this before too long. Today, during my inspection I got to witness my first bee emerging from it's cocoon. Very cool!:thumbsup:

    That's exciting. Aren't they cute with their silver baby fuzz? :D

    I've got to fess up.

    I saw it break through and start to climb out. Then I reached for my camera. She was gone by the time I had camera in hand ready to take a video. :doh:

    Now that the hives are at the stage where the young are coming out daily I'm hoping that watching them come into the world will be a fairly regular event.
