That is so sad and senseless. The worst time of year for that, too. I hope he recovers.
Absolutely senseless!
Can anyone P/M me an email address for Don? All I have learned from his videos has to be worth something back (via paypal).
He has a donate button on his website:
That really stinks.
""He has a donate button on his website:""
Hey, that was easy.
That is wrong in so many way's
Bummer. I have never understood vandals / vandalism. It's something even as a kid growing up I never thought of doing. I just don't understand.
Oh no. I do not like all of my neighbors, but I stay on good terms with all of them partly because I fear this...
very, very sad, and as all have said senseless, very heartbreaking, and the anger i myself felt watching his video. to think what it will take him to recover from this.
Dang, not good at all.
I've been there with other stuff, it's a real gut check. You look for the logic in it but there is none. People just suck sometimes.
Hope he can get back to somewhat operational in short order.
If I'm not mistaken, he said he had over 100 nucs ready to ship. That's got to put a crimp in his business.
Totally infuriating. How can people be so malicious?
It may have been some kids thinking they were being cool causing destruction. I've seen it before. But, that's only speculation. It may have been (as mentioned in one of the videos) a jealous person (rival/competitor). I hope they catch whoever it was.
Sorry for your loss Don.No body deserves to have a day like that.
I think that cameras are the only solution for this. Or at least a couple of dummy cameras well attached in a high place where they can be seen, and signs advising intruders that they are being filmed...whether they are or not.
I posted on there he might want to get a few game cameras to keep and eye on his place. Put them up high enough that the vandals can not steal or break them. Tom
