Tell me.... is gallon bottle "sprin water" flouridated?
I'm feeding our new package, the bees aren't flying/gather like I would expect. Gathering at the hole wondering around, some even fall to the ground, maybe to eventually fly away.

    What's up?

I am unaware of any spring water bottlers that add fluoride to the water. If they are it will say on the label. I dont think fluoride is the cause of the problems.

    More info needed.
IMO it's not a water issue.

    Thanks for the replies,
No indication on the label of flouride.
Can't imagine what other problem couldbe going on. They were all over the place when we installed them. Weather is ok, 80s and humid, almost unbearable to work in the yard. No bearding going on, screen bottom...

Can't figure it out, I'll have to check the other TBH tomorrow.

a few bees or a lot of bees falling to the ground? incoming forager bees will miss the hive entrance and sometimes fall to the ground. outgoing bees? are the ones wondering around and falling to the ground, drones?.... also do you have some sort of a 'landing board' in the front of the bottom board of the hive?

A few bees, custered at the entrance, walking around falling off like they're drunk. Flyers are fine, landing board is at the hole, not on the bottom of the hive, this is a TBH, entrance is 2/3 up from the bottom.

Checked both hives today, two frames of comb and the queen has eggs everywhere. Low numbers flying are explained in the attached pic.
