First swarm in 2 months

    Found this on a Crepe Myrtle near my hives,was a real "gimmee" only 5 ft. off the ground.Had an open Nuc with drawn comb ready.It wasn't very big at all,but 1 tap and they all were hived.:thumbsup:

    Very cool, it's a keeper. My swarm prevention stuff has worked a little too well this year, and I kind of miss having to run out and set a new colony.

    very nice, Ive not had 1 swarm call yet but least its raining now and things dont look dead :grin:
