First swarm of the season

    Thanks to boilerjim I was able to pick up a swarm last night. It was sooo easy a Caveman could have done it!:lol: The swarm was fairly good size. It was lightly raining. Swarm was 10ft. from the house in a scrawny clematis bush 12" off the ground. I placed a drawn brood box with bottom board next to the bush, pulled the stake holding the plant. Laid it over the box and shook. Placed the lid on with it cracked, 30 min. later I was driving home. This caveman got him a freebee!:thumbsup::lol:
