    For our Irish Members

    May you always have
    A sunbeam to warm you
    Good luck to charm you
And a sheltering angel, so nothing can harm you
    Laughter to cheer you
    Faithful friends near you
And whenever you pray, heaven to hear you.

My grandfather was an Irish immigrant

    Thanks Lazy.
    An Irish toast:

May you be in heaven a half hour before the devil knows you're dead.

    Thanks
The only thing not Irish about me was that I was born in CA.

Great-grandfather was of the Fenian Brotherhood and was in the 1800's spending time in West Canada (Ontario) being, shall we say, rambunctious. I do like Lucky Charms, Irish Spring and Ballykissangel...so I guess it's still in my blood.

Shell Oil sent a couple of Irish engineers to work with me on a job several years back. (I'm saying several years back more and more) One of the engineers was a delightful middle aged fellow and was fond of saying, "Ah Laddie, the Good Lord sent us whiskey to keep the Irish from taking over the world."

Seeing the Apis stash reminded me of that remark. :)
