Good deed of the day

Found this guy just off the road last night, he had gotten his head into a pop can and turned inside the can trying to get out, he was really stuck! Couple cuts with the trusty tin snips and he was free.snake1.jpg[/attachment:1c7kyzz3]snake2.jpg[/attachment:1c7kyzz3]

That's pretty awesome! He's good size. (Too bad the 2nd pic is so blurry - it would have been cool to see the head details! )
Nice snake. I found a king snake this summer that had crawled into a pop can ring and it had stopped half way down his body. It was beginning to cut into him. It took a pair of ***** to cut it in two places to remove it. Released him in my outbuilding.
How exactly does one keep a snake calm and still... and un-biting!... while you cut a pop can ring off him?
It's easy when it's his head that is stuck inside the can ;) Once I cut him loose I set him on the ground and he pulled his head right out of the can
Most snakes aren't hyper. If held by the neck, laying on the ground, they are content to just lie and relax. If held with their body dangling, then they squirm around. You can't really blame them. They like to be on solid ground with their body supported.
