European honeybees, maybe with some german blood. If they're not too hot I wouldn't worry about it.

it takes a week for a mating flight and a few days after that to see eggs. You may never see the queen, look for single eggs in the center of the cells, good laying pattern. (multiple eggs or off center are often laying worker but it takes a while for that to get going)
