I have been keeping bees for about 4 years now. I presently run about 20 hives. I got started in beekeeping when I bought a rental house that had a colony in the wall. I paid a local beek to help me get them out. After the cutout, he carried the bees home and hived them. After a couple of weeks, he brought them over to my house, gave me a quick lesson and I was off. Most of the problems that I have had were due to poor management on my part.

    Call me Steve

    welcome aboard steve...

20 hives for a fourth year bee keeper is quite ambitious.
