Hello all,

I am a beekeeper in Portland, OR (Milwaukie to be exact), and I came across this site when doing my daily beekeeping search on Craigslist. It's nice to see a beekeeping forum running some up-to-date forum software, and I hope it becomes a thriving site despite the number of competing forums out there.

I have a Langstroth hive in Beaverton at my folks house, and I'm in the process of constructing 20 top bar hives that will be placed at quality locations throughout the Portland metro area beginning in late April into early May.

I also run a rather useful (and popular) website called Bee Thinking - http://www.BeeThinking.com that has hundreds of useful links, articles and give you, the beekeeper, the ability to submit your own content. Shortly after posting this you should see http://www.beekeepingforums.com under the links page.

If you've got a personal beekeeping site, article or other links that could prove useful to the world beekeeping community, please do so! Or if you are in Portland and need a top bar hive, let me know. :)

Best regards,
Matt Reed

All,

This week http://www.BeeThinking.com has undergone some major revisions, including a brand new directory system that makes searching, viewing, submitting, reviewing and rating resources far easier. I urge you to check it out and submit any quality links if you've got them! If you've got articles or other news, feel free to submit those too!

Best regards,
Matt
