Thought I would start the new year out with a introduction, been hanging out reading for about six months now. Going into my second year with two hives.
Welcome to the forum :hi: sounds like you have a pretty good handle on things to get your bees through a couple of winters
Welcome :hi: There's a few keeps here that live in Texas. Glad you found us, feel free to kick in when you want. We're a friendly bunch.
:hi:Glad to have you with us RJ :hi:--as a posting member and not just an onlooker from the outside. Keep us informed of how your hives come along this season, and if you can include pictures, that would be great. We all love to see pics of bees and all that's related to them.
I bought my grandparents house about a mile outside the city limits. I think of it as living in the country. In April my family has actively farmed the land I live on for 100 years. Give me a wave when you come through I can see 287 from my house.
A wonderful history to pass on to your kids. I'm sure the early years were very hard lived and the land hard won.
Welcome to the forum. .:hi: With your job and climate do we send you our cappings for melting ? .
welcome RJ , its a great place to hang and either ask or answer questions and further your or others knowledge
