Hey there folks. Brand new to beekeeping. Sure am glad to have a resource like this to visit. I'll try to spend more time going through old threads before asking, but if there are areas that are "must reads" for a rank amatures, feel free to point the way. Already stompning my way around the stickies. But if there is anything specific to the central coast of California, I'd appreciate a shove. Thanks gang and glad to be here.

Kind of a long story. Readers digest version, , ,Alaska fishing trip, I bagged a 54 pound King Salmon. Any fish over 50 and the boat owner buys the Captn. a bottle of Crown. Which explained the Captn on the radio after we landed it, jumping up and down yelling into the mike "I got the Whisky Fish!" So now it's the name of my BBQ Crew, my BBQ and my sorta "company".

And I thought the Crown would be used for preserving the fish.

Don't know about "preserving" But it did pickle a few livers that night:lol: I got invited to the captains cabin on the biggest boat and all the boat captains had me tell my story and as we passed the bottle around they all told fishing stories. One of my best fishing memories.
